Alan Wake blev oprindeligt annonceret til PC og Xbox 360 i 2005, men blev så en Xbox 360 eksklusiv oven på Microsofts indblanding. PC versionen blev så igen annonceret i december sidste år og nu er det blevet til en konkret udgivelsesdato.

Denne udgave vil indeholde DLC episoderne The Signal og The Writer.

Spillet rammer først Steam med en pris på $29,99, hvor det så herefter vil ramme andre digitale forretninger som Origin. En udgave i boks kommer også “snart”.

Steam versionen lander den 16. februar og i følge Remedys tekniske ansvarlige Markus Mäki, så ser PC spillet utrolig flot ud.
