Call of Duty: Elite har endnu ikke fundet vej til iOS-formaterne, og Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim har fået hjælp af en tredjepart, endnu uden tilladelse af Bethesda. Men 343 Industries udviser dedikation med en ledsagende app i “Halo ATLAS”. 

Fra den 10. december ville denne multiplayer data-tracking app kunne downloades fra App Store. ATLAS står for “Assisted Tactical Assault System) og skal fungere som en følgesvend til Halo: Reach og Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Appens formål er at guide dig taktisk og give dig spiller-data med det samme.

Halo ATLUS viser dig spillenes forskellige multiplayer baner på din enhed samt følgende informationer:

• Weapon and vehicle spawn locations for Matchmaking and Firefight games
• Health pack locations
• Near-real-time locations for weapons and vehicles during Custom Multiplayer games
• Your location and that of your team members displayed on the map
• 'Follow me' mode to track your movement
• Dynamic player list, including current score for the teams and each player and equipped weapon for you and your teammates

Location tracking vil ikke være understøttet af Firefight baner.

"With Matchmaking games, ATLAS respects the ranked nature of gameplay by only showing weapon and vehicle spawn locations," forklarede 343.

"But with Custom Multiplayer games, ATLAS takes a more no-holds-bared approach by showing the near-real-time location of power weapons and vehicles on the map.

"So, if someone picks up a Rocket Launcher and later drops it, you will see the new location for that particular weapon. You will also be able to see vehicles moving around along with you or your teammates!"

Appen er kompatibel med Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango), iPhone 3GS og opefter, alle iPads og Android enheder med Android 2.2 eller højere. Den vil koste dig 30 danske kroner.

Ud over Halo ATLAS, vil en gratis Halo Waypoint app også følge.
